Summer Cocktail Recipes Inspired by Our Favorite Polos
Summer is here and that means fruity, tropical drinks are in. Even if you are hanging out by your local pool, these cocktails will make you feel like you are on an island in paradise. The juicy sweetness combined with sour, tart undertones are what make these tropical cocktails so delicious. Each cocktail is inspired by one of our polos to bring its own unique flavor that’ll transport you to relaxation and sunshine. While each recipe makes one serving, trust us, you will be wanting more than one.
Sunday Swagger Sunset
Inspired by our Gradient Collection
Tropical, sweet, and layered are just a few words to describe the Sunday Swagger Sunset. Just like the polos in our Gradient Collection, this cocktail looks like you pulled the sunset out of the sky and made it into the most delicious tropical beverage. Say goodbye to Mai Tai’s and the traditional Malibu Sunset because this will be a drink you’ll be making on repeat this summer.
Ingredients:
- 1 ounce orange juice (no pulp)
- 1 ounce pineapple juice
- 1.5 ounces coconut rum
- 1 oz guava juice
- A dash of Blue Curacao
- .5 ounces of water
Instructions:
Step 1
Take a glass and fill it with ice.
Step 2
Add coconut rum, pineapple juice, and orange juice into a cocktail shaker filled with about ½ cup of ice. Cover tightly and shake for about 10 seconds. Pour over the ice.
Step 3
Take 1 ounce of guava nectar and pour over the top of the previous mixture. You’ll see the drinks start to take an ombre effect.
Step 4
Add Blue Curacao into the cocktail shaker, then add the water to dilute. Shake for about 5 seconds before gently pouring on top of the cocktail.
Step 5
Add an umbrella for the vibes and enjoy!
The Perfect Shaken Pina Colada
Inspired by Escape Polo
A blended Piña Colada is the classic drink when you’re in the tropics, but have you ever had a shaken one? With no blender required, this lighter take on the classic cocktail reflects the lightweight, refreshing feel of the 'Escape' polo - whose design took inspiration from the timeless Rupert Holmes love song of a man looking for a Piña Colada loving lover. - Say that 10x fast!
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces pineapple juice
- 2 ounces white rum
- 1.5 ounces cream of coconut
- Squeeze of half a lime
- Slice of pineapple to garish
Instructions:
Step 1
Fill your glass with ice.
Step 2
Add rum, pineapple juice, cream of coconut, and lime into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously for about 20 seconds. Pour into the glass.
Step 3
Garnish with a slice of pineapple and enjoy!

Strawberry Jalapeño Margarita
Inspired by Tiki Bar Polo
There’s nothing better than summer’s plump and juicy strawberries. Now combine that with your favorite tequila for a margarita that will have you feeling sweet, spicy and ready to tango. Just like the vibrant and carefree vibe of the ‘Tiki Bar’ polo, this drink will have you living your best life and bringing the party wherever you go.
Ingredients:
- 2 ounce silver tequila
- 2 ounce strawberry juice or 1/4 ounce strawberry syrup for a sweeter taste
- Jalapeño slices
- 1.5 ounce triple sec
- Squeeze of whole lime
- Strawberry to top off
Instructions:
Step 1
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add tequila, strawberry juice (or syrup), triple sec, lime juice, and jalapeño slices. Shake for 10 seconds or until combined.
Step 2
Pour into glass and garnish with a strawberry.
